There are a few conditions on enrolment with Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art. *

I give permission for my child to attend drama class, rehearsals and performances conducted by CADA. I understand that my child is expected to comply with instructions given to him/her and that I must pay the balance owing on my child's class fees.

Upon enrolment, students are committing to attend all scheduled classes except in the event of illness. If a student is unable to attend classes, the student or parent must inform the class teacher or CADA administration as soon as possible. This is particularly important in the lead-up to performances where the class may be affected by student absences.

Students are required to behave in a way conducive to learning. This includes listening to instructions, participating in activities, and showing courtesy and respect to all students and teachers.

Physical or verbal abuse of students or teachers will not be tolerated in CADA classes. CADA reserves the right to exclude any student engaging in abusive behaviour.

Food, gum, and drink (other than bottled water) are not permitted in classes.

Parents and siblings of students are not permitted to stay in classes to watch unless permission has been given by the class teacher.

No responsibility is taken for any loss or damage of personal property of students. Personal property is brought to class at the student's own risk.

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in mediation with the student or parents. Repeated failure to comply may result in a student being excluded from further CADA classes.

All students must complete an enrolment form prior to commencing any class, via the CADA website. Payments for drama days must be made prior to the day concerned. Failure to pay class fees may result in exclusion from CADA classes. Overdue fees may incur a $25.00 late fee.

In the event that a scheduled course is cancelled by CADA, a full refund will be provided. Alternatively, the student may be offered a place in a similar class at the same price.

In the event that a student withdraws from a CADA drama day, a refund minus an administration fee of $20 will be given.

If a student is to be absent due to illness and is unable to attend a drama day, the parent or carer should contact CADA to arrange a refund or credit towards next term's program.

Thanks so much for enrolling! We will send you information via email within 3 business days once your application has been processed.
